By the time you bundle the modules a growing church needs, you're often paying $400+/mo across the stack. TrueConnect+ is one platform with everything included for $299/mo flat. We're also the only platform with a cross-organization Discover directory — Planning Center's Church Center is tied to a single church per account.
SubSplash's biggest sell is a custom-branded app on the App Store. TrueConnect+ takes a different approach: your members already have one TrueConnect+ app for the four other churches in their life — we don't make them install another one. We're a PWA, so there's no App Store review delay either; updates ship instantly. We do bundle broadcast-grade livestreaming, native QuickBooks sync, and the Discover directory which SubSplash doesn't offer.
Five things are metered: streaming minutes, media storage, broadcast emails, childcare SMS, and database storage. Each meter has a cap that you set — you can choose auto-stop (the meter pauses when you hit the cap) or auto-bill (the system continues with overage charges, capped at a dollar amount you control). You also get notified at a percentage you pick (default 80%). We will never bill a dollar you did not explicitly authorize.
No. TrueConnect+ is a Progressive Web App. Members visit your link, install the app from their browser to their home screen if they want, and it behaves identically to a native app — push notifications, offline-capable, full-screen — without ever going through the App Store or Google Play. That also means we can ship updates instantly, not after a multi-day app-store review.
Yes. We have native PCO sync that pulls people from Planning Center on a four-hour cadence with field mapping. Many churches start by using TrueConnect+ as the front-of-house platform their members touch, while keeping PCO as the back-office system of record for planning. Two-way sync is on the roadmap.
Standard Stripe rates apply, with one important boost: ACH (bank transfer) donations are 0.8% capped at $5 per transaction. For a $5,000 major-donor gift, that's $5 in fees instead of the ~$155 you'd pay on a card-network transaction. We pass through Stripe's rates exactly — no markup.
