# Refund and Cancellation Policy

## 1. Donations

### 1.1 General Policy
- **All donations are final and non-refundable** unless required by law or in cases of fraud or unauthorized transactions
- Donations are voluntary contributions to faith-based organizations
- TrueConnect+ acts as a payment facilitator and does not control how organizations use funds

### 1.2 Refund Requests
Refund requests may be considered in the following circumstances:
- **Fraudulent transactions:** Report within 48 hours
- **Unauthorized charges:** Report immediately
- **Technical errors:** Duplicate charges or incorrect amounts
- **Organization closure:** If organization ceases operations before service delivery

### 1.3 Recurring Donations
- Can be cancelled at any time through your profile settings
- Cancellation takes effect for the next billing cycle
- No refunds for previous recurring donations
- You will receive confirmation of cancellation

## 2. Event Tickets

### 2.1 Refund Policy
- Event refunds are subject to the **hosting organization's policy**
- TrueConnect+ does not set refund policies for individual events
- Review the event's specific refund terms before purchasing

### 2.2 Event Cancellation
If an organization cancels an event:
- Full refunds will be issued automatically
- Refunds processed within 5-10 business days
- Notification sent via email

### 2.3 Event Changes
- Minor changes (time, location) do not qualify for refunds
- Significant changes may qualify at organization's discretion

## 3. Raffle Tickets

### 3.1 No Refunds
- **Raffle ticket purchases are final and non-refundable**
- Required by gaming and raffle regulations
- Purchases constitute entry into the drawing

### 3.2 Exceptions
Refunds may be issued if:
- Raffle is cancelled before drawing
- Technical error results in duplicate purchases
- Fraudulent or unauthorized transaction

### 3.3 Alternative Methods of Entry (AMOE)
- Free entry options available where required by law

## 4. Livestream Access

### 4.1 Pay-Per-View
- **No refunds after livestream begins**
- Refunds available if technical issues prevent viewing
- Must report issues during or within 24 hours of livestream

### 4.2 Technical Issues
If you experience technical problems:
- Contact support immediately during the livestream
- Provide details of the issue
- Refunds granted at our discretion for verified technical failures

## 5. Organization Subscriptions

### 5.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Can be cancelled at any time
- No refunds for partial months
- Access continues until end of billing period
- Cancellation takes effect next billing cycle

### 5.2 Annual Subscriptions
- **Non-refundable** except within 14 days of initial purchase
- 14-day money-back guarantee for new annual subscriptions
- No refunds after 14-day period
- Cancellation prevents auto-renewal but no prorated refund

### 5.3 Downgrades
- Can downgrade tier at any time
- Takes effect at next billing cycle
- No refunds for difference in tier pricing

## 6. Processing Fees

### 6.1 Non-Refundable Fees
- Payment processing fees (Stripe fees) are **non-refundable**
- Platform fees are non-refundable
- Even if a refund is issued, processing fees are not recovered

## 7. How to Request a Refund

### 7.1 Contact Information

- Include: Transaction ID, date, amount, and reason
- Response within 3-5 business days

### 7.2 Required Information
- Account email address
- Transaction details
- Reason for refund request
- Supporting documentation (if applicable)

### 7.3 Processing Time
- Approved refunds processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds issued to original payment method
- May take additional time to appear in your account

## 8. Chargebacks

### 8.1 Dispute Process
- Contact us before filing a chargeback
- Chargebacks may result in account suspension
- We will work with you to resolve disputes

### 8.2 Fraudulent Chargebacks
- Filing fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
  - Permanent account termination
  - Legal action
  - Collection of owed amounts plus fees

## 9. Exceptions and Special Cases

### 9.1 Legal Requirements
- Refunds will be issued as required by law
- State and federal regulations may override this policy
- Consumer protection laws apply

### 9.2 Force Majeure
- No refunds for events beyond our control
- Natural disasters, technical failures, etc.
- Organizations responsible for their own force majeure policies

## 10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via:
- Email notification
- Platform announcement
- Updated effective date
